In 2005, Joseph E. Meyer & Associates, Inc. debuted its Illinois Tax Sale Automation service powered by its proprietary software R.A.M.S.. Purchasers attend the sale in person and bid via our networked computers, using only a simple mouse click. In 2020, we introduced R.A.M.S. 2 in response to the pandemic. Sales managed by R.A.M.S. and R.A.M.S 2 are fair and accurate, and conducted in an orderly manner that precludes collusion and unfair competition. Both systems are certified by the Illinois Department of Revenue as required by Illinois Statute. In 2025, R.A.M.S. and R.A.M.S. 2 were used by 85 counties in Illinois to collect approximately 150 million dollars in unpaid property taxes.
