Joseph E. Meyer & Associates, Inc.is a familiar name in managing delinquent taxes for Illinois counties and has been in business since 1980. One of our central functions is serving as the Tax Agent for County Boards in Illinois. Properties not purchased by tax buyers at the County Delinquent Tax Sale are assigned to the trustee program and managed by Joseph E. Meyer & Associates, Inc. After the redemption period expires on delinquent properties, we obtain tax deeds on behalf of the county and sell the properties at public auction.

About Our Founder
Joe graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1970, the University of Notre
Dame in 1974, and then started his real estate company, Joseph E. Meyer & Associates. Joe appreciated the rich history of Edwardsville and was vested in the community through membership in the Edwardsville Rotary Club, Edwardsville Gun Club and his development of Park Plaza; he enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the area with his friends and family.
He had a passion for aviation and spent many pretty days in the sky. Joe enjoyed the outdoors through fishing, trap shooting, boating and taking his grandkids exploring. He was a talented musician and displayed his talent with the Notre Dame Marching Band, the Edwardsville Muny Band, and private performances for his friends and family. He enjoyed photography, golfing and relaxing at the Lake of the Ozarks.
